Wood and fibres of plant origin are raw materials of biological origin, renewable and sustainable, which with the diversity of species and derived products can provide numerous opportunities to the design project. Their use requires an understanding of variability and the knowledge of physical-mechanical characteristics. The containment of climate change is connected to the circularity and sustainability of this supply chain that requires the contribution of design.
